Wallpaper

These are the images you have. They are used as wallpaper on the phone. On some phone models, they can also be used as the background for when a particular person calls.

Drag and Drop your images in here. You can also right click and choose Add.

The image will be resized to fit the phone (For example the LG-VX4400 is 120x98). If the image is within 10% of the phone screen size then it is not resized. Note that the resizing preserves the aspect ratio of the image. That means you may get white space on the sides of the image depending on its aspect ratio.

The image is converted to the BMP (bitmap) file format, with the exception of images in the BCI format which are left alone.

Note that although the phone can display PNG files, only 256 colours from them are displayed. Consequently they don't look very good for anything beyond trivial images. The BCI (Brew Compressed Image) format only supports 256 colours and has similar issues.

Pressing the delete key in wallpaper or ringtone view when no item is selected will delete the last selected item, or if it no longer exists then an item that was adjacent to that one.
